I feel overloaded

I understand when teachers say they feel overloaded with technology. I spent a significant chunk of the summer reviewing websites and interesting technologies. Now I feel overloaded. There is an incredible array of technological innovations that are being created on a daily basis. You need to understand the breadth of what is possible before you can actually try a technology integration project.

For the teacher tech classes, I am going to follow this outline.

Interesting Thought

Posted by johnfaig on June 30, 2008

With each new generation of technology, and with each stage of technological expansion into pristine environments, human beings have fewer alternatives and become more deeply immersed within technological consciousness. We have a harder time seeing our way out. Living constantly in side an environment of our own invention, reacting soley to things we ourselves have created, we are essentially living inside our own minds. Where evolution was once an interactive process between human beings and a natural, unmediated world, evolution is now an interaction between human beings and our own artifacts
